Harold Poole Funeral Home obit

Larsetine Wood Pearce was born 8 Apr 1926 in Johnston County, North Carolina to the
late John Raeford Wood (5 Jun 1896 - 26 Nov 1945) and Golius Narron (30 Oct 1900 - 
19 May 1987). She retired from N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles with 37 years service. 
She passed away peacefully on 16 Jun 2018 at her home in Wendell, North Carolina.

A service to celebrate her life was held 19 Jun 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral
Service Chapel. Burial followed at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Youngsville, 
North Carolina.

Larsetine is survived by her daughters: Faye P McLaughlin (Robert) of Deltona,
Florida, Kaye P Harding (Kenneth) of Raleigh, Vickie Pearce and Annette Pearce, 
both of Wendell; grandchildren: Donald E Harris (Julie), Wendy M Harris, J. Carter 
Holland (Erin), Kenneth D Harding, Jr (Alison); 8 great-grandchildren, and son-in-law, 
Larry Holland. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Malcolm Furna Pearce (22 Aug 1919
- 24 Jun 1959); daughter, Carolyn P Holland (2 Jun 1950 - 21 - Oct 2010); brothers, 
James Troy Wood (1920-2009) and Rayford Elton Wood (2 Mar 1923 - 26 Nov 2009). 

Larsetine was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be
dearly missed. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions 
be made to Hephzibah Baptist Church, 1794 Wendell Blvd., Wendell.
