Zebulon - Roger Landon "Snapper" Pearce, 68, of 8824 Fowler Rd., died June 14, 
2006 at Wake Medical Center. He was born in Franklin Co. on July 3, 1937 to the 
late John O Pearce and Blanche Davis Pearce. 

Funeral services were held at Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church and entombment was 
at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

Surviving: His wife, Faye Hopkins Pearce; daughter, Angela Pearl Pearce and her 
friend, Greg Poole of Zebulon; sisters, Grey P Baker of Knightdale; Annie P 
High of Wendell; Genny P Wheeles of Bunn; brothers, Bill Pearce of New Britian, 
Ct; Lee Pearce of Garner; and Louis Pearce of Wake Forest. 

Additional Comments:
He was a charter member of Hopkins Rural Fire Department and he was 
instrumental in organizing the Fire Department. He graduated from Wakelon High 
School in 1957 and he was a member of Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church.
