Edward Samuel Pearce, 84, of 11005 Honeycutt Road, died 13 Oct 2004 at Rex 
Hospital in Raleigh. He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Leesie 
Ray and Fernie O Pearce. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a retired 
machinist.

Surviving: sons, Michael Pearce and Timothy Pearce, both of Raleigh
           and Edward Pearce, Jr of Zebulon;
           half-sisters, Angela Gilbert of Hopkins and Sarah Johnson of Pearces,
           grandchildren, Edward Pearce III, Vann Pearce, Stephen Pearce and
           John Pearce;
           three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 16 Oct 2004 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home in 
Wake Forest and he was buried in Raleigh Memorial Park.
