Zebulon - Malcolm Furna Pearce,39, of Raleigh died June 24, 1959 at Rex Hospial 
in Raleigh. He was born August 22, 1919 in Franklin Co., the son of Furney 
Smith Pearce and Mattie Florence May. He married December 27, 1944 to the 
former Larsetine Wood.

Funeral services were conducted at Bethlehem Baptist Church and burial was in 
the church cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Larsetine Wood Pearce of Raleigh; five daughters, Furna 
Faye, Linda Kaye, Carolyn Sue, Vickie Gail and Mattie Annette, all of the home; 
his mother, Mattie Pearce of Zebulon; two brothers, Ovid Pearce and Charles 
Pearce, both of Raleigh; two sisters, Ruth Love of Raleigh and Vera Mae Pearce 
of Zebulon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Furney Smith Pearce (1953) and a 
brother, Wallace Hayes Pearce (1937).
