Sophia Alice Pearce Privette was born 8 Aug 1926 in Franklin County to McClellan 
Pearce (16 Mar 1895 - 26 Jan 1991) and Bertha Medlin (28 Dec 1902 - 22 Aug 
1988). She married 11 Feb 1946 to McLean Privette (21 Apr 1925 - 29 May 1996). 

She was preceded in death by both parents, husband,
         daughter-in-law: Wanda Joy Wilson Privette (12 Mar 1952 - 6 Sept 2008),
         brother: Marshall Ellis Pearce (17 Aug 1924 - 30 Apr 1974),
         sisters: Hilda Pearce Medlin (17 Sept 1921 - 11 Feb 2010),
                  Melba Pearce Bunn (11 Jan 1919 - 16 Sept 1996).

She is survived by sons: Berry M Privette and his wife, Terrie
                         Randy L Privette and his wife, Janet

She worked as a beautician for 56 years.

Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Youngsville and she is 
buried in the Privette Family Cemetery.
