Charles Douglas Rogers, 86, of 60 Robbins Road, Youngsville, died 22 Oct 2007 
at his residence. He was born in Franklin County on 22 Jun 1921 to Harry Thomas 
Rogers (10 Mar 1893 - 11 Oct 1967) and Margaret Ann Mikkelsen (21 Jan 1898 - 23 
Oct 1984). 

Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church and he was buried in the 
church cemetery. 

Surviving: wife, Cathy Rogers
daughters: Shirley Carter (Robert) of Youngsville
           Barbara Oxendine of Louisburg
           Teresa Carter (Douglas) of Smithfield
           Vickie Futch of Bunn
           Brenda Brooks (Charles) of St. Pauls
son:       Danny C Butler of Cary
sisters:   Jane Brannan of Zebulon
           Inga Grayson of Greensboro
           Carrie Martin of Zebulon
brother:   Max Rogers of Florence, SC

           12 grandchildren
           17 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by
brothers:  Harry Thomas Rogers, Jr. (11 Jun 1918 - 17 Jul 1944)
           William Lawrence Rogers (13 Jan 1924 - 7 Feb 2004)
sisters:   Dorothea Rogers Pickard (28 Aug 1925 - 16 Oct 2003)
           Pauline Rogers Arnold (23 Nov 1919 - 4 Dec 2006)     

Additional Comments:
He was a retired mechanic with Raleigh East Airport in Knightdale, a WWII 
veteran of the U.S Army and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church
