Obituary:  Franklin Co., NC

Paul A. Sledge, 73, retired farmer, died Tuesday, August 28, 1973 in Franklin 
Co., NC. Funeral services to be 3 pm. Wednesday at Holly Grove Baptist Church. 
Reverends Tommy Hayes and Keith Hart presiding. Burial to follow in the church 
cemetery.
   Surviving are his widow, Mrs Annie Bell Sledge; three sons, Clarence and 
Cleveland of Louisburg and Paul Sledge, Jr. of Spring Hope: a daughter Mrs 
Annie Lee Woodard of Fayetteville: four brothers, Turner and Robert of Spring 
Hope, Cyrus of Nashville, and Rudolph Sledge of Raleigh; three sisters, Mrs 
Ida Hathaway and Mrs Claudia Woodard of Spring Hope, and Mrs Carrie Lee 
Woodard of Rocky Mount; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
