Alice Marie Privette Tant was born July 28, 1935 in Franklin County. NC. She 
was the daughter of the late Albert Condery Privette and Lillian Crama Pearce 
Privette. Alice died December 30, 2008 and she is buried at Pine Ridge Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Linda Tant Moose; and sisters 
Pauline Allen and Martha Bass; and her first born child, a daughter. 

Surviving: Husband, Robert Alton "Bus" Tant; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene 
Tant Perry and Elgin of Youngsville; grandchildren, Dylan and Jennifer Perry; 
step-son, Bobby Tant of Spring Hope; step-daughter, Brenda Tant Perry of 
Wilson; brothers, Terry Clifton Privette and wife Jenny of Zebulon, Albert 
Condery "Jay" Privette and his wife Anita of Pilot; sisters, Patricia Baker and 
husband Wayne of Youngsville, Ann Patton of Rincon. Ga.; three step-grandsons 
and three step-great grandchildren. 

Additional Comments:
Alice was such a gentle spirit who truly loved her family. She was very 
interested in genealogy and spent countless hours compiling her family trees. 
She did extensive research on the Privette, Pearce, and Tant families. Alice 
touched my soul and she was truly a wonderful friend.
