James Daylon Wheeler was born 21 Sept 1947 in Johnston County, he son of Kate 
Spencer Wheeler (12 Dec 1920 - 17 Nov 1952) and Iva Mae Tart (2 Dec 1925 - 2 Feb 
2010)and he died 29 Apr 2013 in Wake County. He was preceded in death by his 
parents and sister, Carolyn Wheeler Hawks (16 Mar 1946 - 15 Feb 1987). He is 
survived by his wife, Betty Pulley Wheeler; daughter Dayla W Jones and her husband 
Bradley; brother, Thomas Wheeler; two grandchildren, Kylie Grace Jones and Ashton 
Jones. He is buried at Beulah Christian Church Cemetery.
