Know all men by these presents that we, Jeffrey Pearce and Isaac Perry, are 
held & firmly bound unto Bery Williams, Esquire, Governor, &c. in the sum of 
five hundred pounds, current money, to be void on condition that there doth not 
hereafter appear any lawful impediment to obstruct the marriage of Jeffrey 
Pearce and Ann Dent. Witness our hands & seals this 13th day of September 1808.
