Colbert clycolbert@aol.com April 3, 2006 Lamon, Duncan will, Franklin Co, 10 Dec 1810, proved Dec Ct 1810, 19 Jan 1815; In the name of God, Amen, I Duncan Lamon, Junr of the State of North Carolina, Franklin County, do hereby make & declare this to be my last Will and Testament, in the manner & form following, to wit, First, I request the executor of this my last Will and Testament hereafter to be appointed, to collect and settle all my just and lawful debts and the residue of my property, of every kind I bequeath unto my beloved wife, and to her heirs forever. In testimony whereof I do hereunto fix my hand & seal this 10th day of December 1810. Witness Jesse Cobb, Jurat, (Jabez Moody, Jurat; Duncan Lamon. I hereby nominate and appoint Benjamin Brickell executor to this my last Will & Testament. Franklin County, December Session 1810. The last Will & Testament of Duncan Lamon, Junr deceased, was exhibited in open Court and the execution thereof duly proved by the oath of Jesse Cobb and Jabez Moody, two of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and on motion ordered to be recorded, and at the same time Benjamin Bickell, Esq., the executor therein nominated come into Court and Qualified as executor thereto in due form. State of North Carolina, Franklin County; I Green Hill, (the) Clerk of the Court of Pleas and Quarters Sessions, in & For the County of Franklin aforesaid, do certify the foregoing to be a true copy of the Last Will and Testament of Duncan Lamon (the) deceased, and that the (sub???)
