The Last Will of ANN MOORE decd In the name of God Amen, I ANN MOORE of the County of Franklin and State of North Carolina this the 7th day March in the year of our Lord 1842 do make and ordain this to be my last will & Testament in manner and form following, Viz.: Item 1. I give and bequeath to my daughter JUDITH BOON one feather bed & furniture and stead to her & her heirs forever Item 2. I give & bequeath to my dauther MOURNING HINES one feather bed & furniture and certain bed stead to her & her heirs forever Item 3. I give and bequeath to my grandson JAMES HOWARD ALFORD one feather bed furniture bedstead one pine chest one mare, to him and his heirs forever Item 4. I give and bequeath to my son WILLIAM CRAWFORD MOORE one feather bed furniture & bed stead to him & his heirs forever. I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Item 5. CHARITY WOOD FLOWERS the sume of seventy four dollars in money or bonds to her and her heirs forever. Item 6. My will and desire is that after my eath that my negro man Phillip one s--- --- one -- one --- C-- all my stock of cattle hogs & sheep and all my House hold & kitchen furniture that I have not before disposed of farming tools Carts & wheels shall be sold at public sale as my Executor may think best. Also all my cook & provisions that may be on hand at that time. and pay all my just debts out of the mornies arising from said sale Item 7. After my just debts are paid I give and bequeath the balance of money that may arise from said sale to my son WILLIAM CRAWFORD MOORE to him & his heirs forever. Item 8. My will & desire is that provided MOURNING HINES, WILLIAM CRAWFORD MOORE & JAMES HOWARD ALFORD should die without any living heirs that all the property I have given to them should return back to my family and be equally awarded between them all Lastly, I nominate and appoint my son ROBERT MOORE executor to this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me made heretofore.
