The Last Will & Testament of John Perry Snr Decd.

In the name of God amen, I John Perry, Snr of the County of Franklin
and State of North Carolina, being weak and low in health but of sound
mind and memory and knowing that it is appointed for all man once to
die,  do make	this my last Will and Testament, that Is to say
principally and first of all, I give and recommend my Soul into the
hands of Almighty God that gIveth me and my body I recommend to the
clay to be burled in a decent and Christian manner at the discretion
of my Executor nothing doubting that at the general Resurrection I
shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God that as
touching such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me
in this life I give and devise and dispose of the same in the
following manner & form

#1 give & 1 bequeath unto my daughter Rebekah Ferrell (Terrell?) & her
heirs one negro Boy named Cash--the said negro boy to be sold and
equally divided amongst her children.

Item I give & bequeath unto my daughter Mary Strickland one negro
woman namd Hanner & her increase, also one negro woman namd Jane.

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Francis Richards one negro
boy namd. Bob

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Burwell Perry one bed 6 furniture

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Baker or her heirs ten
shillings in money

Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Perry Ten Shlilings	money to
be in money

Item I give and bequeath unto iny daughter Alsy Conyars one negro boy
named George

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ruthe Hall fifty pounds V.
money, also one cow and calf

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Solomon Perry one negro man named
Anthony, one negro man named Shade and one negro boy named Squirs, one
desk & table, one cow & calf

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Jeremiah Perry one negro man
named Drew, one negro boy named Reed one new Black Walnut chest & one
case of pistols, and one cow and calf

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Perry one negro man named
Daniels one negro, man named Lewis one negro boy named Richard, one
negro woman named Annaea, one negro girl named Rose, also one Black
Horse by the name of Dick, also one bey horse by the name of Bow. Also
four cows & calves, a yoke of steers & steer cart also one cubboard &
chest & one black walnut table & pine table also one rifle gun, two
beds & furniture, Also all my household and kitchen furniture

Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Burley Perry one bed &
furniture

item I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Perry four choice sows of
my flock of hogs Item All my stock of saleable hogs at the fall to be
sold and equally divided between my three sons Solomon, Jeremiah and
Abraham Perry. All the remnant of sows and pigs that is not given, to
be equally divided between the said above mentioned sons Solloman,
Jeremiah & Abraham Perry

Item I give and bequeath unto all my sons & daughters one negro woman
named Philip & all my stock of cattle and horses that is not wlll'd
away to be sold in the family and money to be equally divided between
the sons & daughters

Item After my death & burial & after paying my debts the money I have
in possession and due me to be equally divided between my sons.

Item Albino (?) ncgro man named Charles now run away if were caught to
be sold to the highest bider and the money to be equally divided
between my sons & daughters

I make constitute & ordain my two sons Solomon & Jeremiah Perry my
sole axecutors of this my last Will & Testament and I so hereby
utterly d1sannul & revoke all & every other testament will & Legacy
bequeaths & Executors by me anyways before named willed & bequeathed.
Ratified & confirmed this & no other to be my last will & testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this fifteenth
day of March one Thousand seven hundred & ninety six

Sign'd seald, published and declar'd in the presence of witness
