In the Name of God Amen, I ELIAS STALLINGS of Franklin County & State of North Carolinia Being in a low state of health, But (through Mercy) of Sound mind & memory, do make & ordain this my last will & testament, In manner & form as followeth (viz.) In the first place it is my desire all my just debts be paid out of that part of my extate that can be best speared, And then I devise & despose of the whole of my estate both real & personal as followeth (viz.) ITEM: I give & bequeath to my son SHADRACK STALLINGS, twenty shillings current money to him & his heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my son MESHACK STALLINGS twenty shillings current money to him & his heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my son in law DANIEL SUTHERLIN twenty shillings current money to him & his heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my son ELIJAH STALLINGS twenty shillings, to him & his heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath unto my daughter PENELLEPY MAY one negro woman named Cate with her two children named Chaney & Sam to her & ehr heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my son ELISHA STALLINGS forty acres of land whereon he now lives & one hundred dollars to him & his heirs for ever. ITEM: I lend to my daughter DELILAH WILLIAMS one negro girl of six years old durening her life and after her death equally divided among all her children to them & theirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my son in law JOHN MOODY twenty shillings current money to him & his heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my daughter WINNEY BURNS, one negro girl named Hannah to her & her heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my daughter CAARNHAPPUCH STONE one negro boy named Dick to her & her heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath unto my daughter MORTILLY STALLINGS one negroe girl named Lucy & twenty five pounds Virginia Currency, one feather bed & furniture & one cow & calf to her & her heirs forever. ITEM: I lend unto my dearly beloved wife ANN STALLINGS my negroes named Sampson & Lucy the old _______? & as much of my plantation as may serve for her use to live on & make a crop to support on reasonably, one feather bed & furniture and two cows & calves & two sows & piggs dureing her widowhood or naturall life. ITEM: I lend to my grandson JOSEPH STALLING the fenced ground at my old place whereon my son ELIAS now lives for the term of twenty years excepting the orchard-- ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my son REDDICK STALLINGS all my lands except the lent of my wifes use, & also then of them to my grandson of the fenced ground at my old plantation above mentioned the orchard excepted to my son REDDICK use, also my negroes as followes (viz) my negro man named JAME, LUCY, ESTHER, AZER, & YOUNG JUDY, one feather bed & furniture, and all the remainder of my stock of all kinds as also after my loving wifes decease or widowhood my son shall have the negroes Sampson & Lucy to him & his heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my grandson BURGESS MOODY one feather & furniture and fifty dollars to him & his heirs forever. ITEM: I give & bequeath to my daughter MORTILLY STALLINGS all the remainder of that part of my estate which I have lent to my wife, after her death, to her & her heirs forever. I likewise constitute make and ordain my son in law WILLIAM MAY & JOSIAH ELEY (EBY?) my whole & sole executors of this my last will & testament, and I do hereby revoak disallow & disannul all other wills or testaments by me here tofore made.
