Of Capt Samuel Calwell, Samuel McKay, Levi Ward, (James Caraig?) and Adam W Springs as assess to divide between …… Divide said land according to the terms of said will by which deedDaniel Glen is entitled with that part described as follows Beginning at a white oak on Reeds line and Litman’s Branch thence with Reed’s line South 35 East 33 Poles to a Black oak then North 60 East 65 poles to a White Oak old corner then South 54West 176 poles to a Hickory down and pointers then North 24 West 178 poles near the mouth of a lane then South 18 East 105 poles to a Stake in an old pole a corner of the widows dower then South 7 East 58 Poles to a Branch on the North prong of Tilmans branch thence down the Meanders of said Branch to the Beginning by Estimation Eighty Three acres more or less and the said David Glen Samuel Glenn doth hereby warrant and defend the said eighty three acres of land to the said Daniel Glen against the claims of themselves heirs or assigns and all other persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim under them Witness our hands and seals this 13th day of December 1828 Signed Sealed and DavidGlenn Delivered in presence of ) Samuel Glenn Adam A Springs ) State of North Carolina Isaac Holland ) Lincoln County January Session 1830 The within deed of sale was proven in open Court by the Oath of Isaac Holland recorded and ordered to be registered.
