Z. Paris, who was formetly pastor of the Church street Methodist church in this city, was married in Gaston county on the 29th of January to Miss Loula B. Cannon. The ceremony was performed at the residence of Mr. D.E. Cannon by Rev. P.J. Carraway of Charlotte, an uncle of the groom. The attendants were Mr. E.R. Cannon and Miss Lillie Benson, Mr. W.B. Hoftman and Miss Ella Cannon. The wedding march was rendered by Mrs. Nellie J. Reaves of Charlotte. They were married under a horse shoe made of holly and cedar with the initials C.P. in the center. The supper was splendid and enjoyed by a large host of friends and relatives. The room was beautifully decorated with evergreens. The married couple will make their home in Charlotte. The Rev. Mr. Paris is well known by the Charlotte people.
