GATLING & SMITH
      VS.
JOSEPH SPEIGHT

Original Attachment: Returned "Executed on one Negro man named Lamb"

It being suggested to the Court that the Defendant JOSEPH SPEIGHT resides 
without this State. It is ordered by the Court that public notice be given for 
three months by advertisement in the Edenton Gazette as the Act of General 
Assembly in such cases directs, that unless he appear at the next term of this 
Court vis: on the third Monday in November next, replevy the property and 
plead to the action, final judgment will be had against him.
