C., was born in 1762. While living in Gates, he enlisted in CAPTAIN WEST HARRIS' Company. He was made an orderly sergeant under CAPTAIN JAMES ALSTON and was later a cornet. He served until the end of the War, and then moved to Wilson County, Tenn., from which he applied for and was granted a pension. He married RUTH DAVIDSON. He died in Wilson County in 1840.
