May 26, 1808   Edenton Gazette May 26, 1808
   A CAMP MEETING is to commence on Friday, the 10th June next, in the County 
of Gates, within a mile of the Court-House. It is desired that those who may 
avail themselves of the opportunity of this convocation, would come provided 
with tents and the other necessary provisions to continue on the ground during 
the full period. Those who come by water to Bennett's Creek Bridge, will be 
furnished with land carriage from the Bridge to the Camp Ground. For 
individuals, or those persons  who come unprovided, accommodations will be 
furnished at the Court House on reasonable terms.
