   -- We are authorized to inform the citizens composing the Edenton District 
of Edenton that GEN. JOSEPH RIDDICK of Gates County offers his services as an 
Elector, to serve at the next Presidential Election and to assure them, if 
elected, he will vote for JAMES MADISON as President and GEORGE CLINTON, as 
Vice President.
