BILLIE J. BRINKLEY

Billie Joe Brinkley, 53, of Route 1, a retired laborer, died March 31, 1990, 
in his home.

Mr. Brinkley, a native of Gates County, was a member of Joppa Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sadie Brinkley; three daughters, Ruby Holley of 
Tyner, Curleyphine Beamon of Suffolk and Vicki Brinkley of Waterbury, Conn.; 
three sons, Roger Stallings of Suffolk, Irvin Brinkley of Waterbury and 
Vernon Brinkley of Gatesville; his mother, Sarah Brinkley of Hobbsville; and 
10 grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Joppa Baptist Church by 
the Rev. Percey Nixon. Burial will be in Kee family cemetery. Hunter's 
Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements.
