Charles M. Jackson Dies At Drum Hill
Charles M. Jackson, age 79 years, a prominent citizen of Drum Hill, N. C., died 
this morning at 4 o'clock after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Jackson is survived by five daughters and four sons: Mrs. C. E. Thompson, of 
Portsmouth, Mrs. J. T. Braxton and Mrs. J. A. Braxton, of Scotland Neck, N. C., 
Mrs. George E. Powell, of Suffolk, Mrs. W. D. Joyner, of Scotland Neck, N. C., 
S. O. Jackson, of Portsmouth, J. H. and T. E. Jackson, of Drum Hill, N. C., and 
C. E. Jackson, of Franklin
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the residence in 
Drum Hill, N. C., conducted by the Rev. J. S. Maxey. Interment will be made in 
the family cemetery.
