JOHN HENRY LEE

   John Henry Lee, 66, a well-known business man of Winston, N.C., died at his 
home Monday morning. He was the son of the late Richard Henry and Elizabeth Eure 
Lee of Gates County. He was a member of the Methodist Church on Winton.

   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Ann Lee; a daughter, Miss Bessie 
Holland Lee, both of Winton; two sisters, Mrs. R.E.L. Holland of Holland and 
Mrs. E.L. Banks of Winton; two brothers, the Rev. T.N. Lee of Roxboro, N.C., and 
C.B. Lee of Gates, N.C.

   Services were conducted from the home Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the 
Rev. Dempsey Robinson, burial following in Murfreesboro cemetery. Pallbearers 
were W.Dare Boone, W.L. Daniels, J.A. Shaw, R.E. Coggsdale, Charles Eure, Edward 
Felton, T.M. Condon and T.D. Northcutt.
