LILLY FUNERAL AT GATES TOMORROW
Services For Mrs. J. R. Lilly To Be Conducted From Residence Funeral services 
for Mrs. Ella Victoria Lilly will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence in 
Gates, N.C., conducted by the Rev. J.M. Joliff and the Rev. W.F. Woodall.
Mrs. Lilly was the wife of R.J. Lilly of Gates, N.C., and died at a Norfolk 
hospital after an illness of one month. Besides her husband she is survived by a 
daughter, Mrs. M.L. Piland, of Gatesville, N.C., and a son, Earle R. Lilly, of 
Ocean View, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was an active 
member of Harrell's Methodist Church. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
