ADDIE VIRGINIA SPAIGHT

MRS. ADDIE V. SPAIGHT
Mrs. Addie Virginia Speight, wife of the late J. B. Speight, died last night at 
her home near Sunbury, N. C. She was 74 years old.
Surviving are seven children; one daughter, Mrs. W. L. Hinton, of Portsmouth; 
six sons, J, H. Speight, Washington, D. C„ W. W. and C. F. Speight, Norfolk, R. 
O. and H. W. Speight, Sunbury, N. C , and L B. Speight, Whaleyvllle. Also two 
brothers, J. J. Johnson and D. P. Johnson, of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. W. W. 
Haslett and Mrs. Charles Russell, of Whaleyvllle; and Mrs. Anne Taylor, of 
Suffolk; several nieces and nephews and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p. m., Friday at the Speight 
residence The rites will be conducted by the Rev. J. M. Roberts, the Rev, A. D. 
Poythress and the Rev. C. D. Barollff. Burial will be in Powell cemetery at 
Savage. N C.
