MARY ELIZABETH SMITH VAUGHAN

   HOLLAND, PA. – A funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Vaughan, 84, was held 
Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Donald L. 
Kirkbride. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin was in charge.

   Mrs. Vaughan died Sunday in Twining Village.

   A native of Sunbury, N.C., she was a former resident of Norfolk and was the 
widow of Lemuel Wilmer Vaughan and a member of the Norfolk Congregational 
Christian Temple and the Fornightly Study Club.

   Survivors include a daughter, Mary V. Keener of Oreland; a son, L.W. 
Vaughan of Camden, S.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
