ARSIE OSCAR MILLARD WHITE

   CARRSVILLE – A funeral service for Arsie Millard White, 85, was held Monday 
at 2 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Donald E. 
Trump. Burial was in Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

   White died Saturday in his home.

   A native of Hobbsville, N.C., he was the husband of the late Patti Ward 
White.

   He was retired farmer and was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and its 
Adult Bible Class.

   Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn W. White of Carrsville and Ruby 
W. Weaver and Dora W. Aston of Suffolk; a son, Roger White of Suffolk; four 
sisters, Mrytle W. Umphlette and Lillie W. Hobbs of Hobbsville, Mary W. Harris 
of Edenton, N.C.; and Gladys W. Lowe of Smithfield; and nine grandchildren.
