THE TIDEWATER NEWS – 06-18-1987, P 10A

   CORAPEAKE, N.C. – Ray Coy Wilson, 78, a retired farmer, died June 12, in 
his home.

   Mr. Wilson, a Gates County native, was a member of Parker’s United 
Methodist Church.

   Survivors include his wife, Rosalene Howell Wilson; a daughter, Phyllis W. 
Robertson of Suffolk; a son, Johnny H. Wilson of Sunbury, N.C.; two sisters, 
Elsie W. White of Hampton and Margaret W. Smither of Suffolk; two brothers, 
Grant Wilson of Carrollton and Woodrow Wilson of  Courtland; and six 
grandchildren.

   The funeral was conducted Saturday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, 
Suffolk, by the Rev. Mary Von Cannon. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
