MORDECAI R. WOOD

   Mordecai R. Wood of Miami, Fla., died in that city on Thursday, November 24.

   Surviving are a son, Edward Wood, and a daughter, Mrs. Edna Wood, of Miami; 
and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Reichling of Norfolk and Mrs. Adna Barrett of 
Gatesville, N.C.

   The body arrived in Boykins on Sunday morning. Funeral services were held at 
three o’clock that afternoon at the grave in the Severn, N.C. cemetery, with 
Revs. N.B. Habel and W.L. Sturtevant officiating.

   Pallbearers were M.B. Drewry, Bailey Maddrey, M.E. Brickell, E.L. Holdford, 
Rod Wood, R.S. Edwards and William Edwards.
