First I give and devise to John Doughtie one cow & calf to him and to his heirs and assigns forever------- Secondly I give and devise to my nephew Edward Doughtie all my putter [pewter] at my house also one large iron bound chest & one iron pott to him & to his heirs and assigns forever. Thirdly I give and devise to Leah Doughtie one cow & calf to her & her heirs and assigns forever---- Fourthly I give and devise to my nephew William Doughtie senior all the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal consisting one negroe man named Jacob & also my household furniture of ever kind all my plantation utensils, my stock & ever other thing that is not already disposed of to him and to his heirs and assigns forever--- Lastly I nominate and appoint my nephew William Doughtie senior to be my executor to this my last will and Testament, here by desiring him to fullfill the same In witness my hand and seal this 27th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred eighty eight.
