[Surnames have been capitalized.] In the Name of God, Amen I Henry HILL of Gates County in the State of North Carolina this Twenty fourth day of Janry. in the year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty one being in a very loe State of health but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same do make and ordain this to be my last will and Testement in manner and forme following that is to say in the first Place Item I give unto my Son Henry HILL the Lands whereon I now live and binding on Seasebrook HINTON lands to the main Road and so as for as my Lands runs as will hereafter appear to him and his heirs for ever Item I give unto my Two Sons Himbrick HILL and David HILL a certain peace of Lands Called Gabriels neck begining on Richard FREEMANs Line Neare Captn.. ROBERTS Mill Pond and up said FREEMANs line to the Injen town Road along said Road to the Miere [Mirey] Branch then down said Branch to Gabriels Branch then Down said branch to the first Station also the I [sic] Desire that Henry HILL let his Brother Hime or David which ever Lands Joins his when lade of [laid off] Cut pines for to make Rales of to them and there Heirs for ever Item I give my Creek Plantation with the Land Joining John FREEMAN unto my Son Clemont HILL & my Daughter Charity ROBENS to be Equally Devided between them supposed to be one Hundred and fifty more or less to them and there Heirs forever my Desu?ire is that the Cedere purcoson Lying on Benets Creek be Equally Devided to and amongst all my children I give one half of all my Cattle that belongs to the Plantation whereon I now live unto my Son Henry HILL the other half to be Equally Devided between my son Himebrick HILL and David HILL to them and there Heirs for ever I Give unto my Son Clemont HILL and my Daughter Charity ROBINS the Stock of Cattle belonging unto the Creek Plantation to be Equally divided between them Two to them and there heirs for ever I time [sic] I give unto my Daughter Mary NICHOLES one likley [sic] Cow and Calf to hir & hir Heirs for ever I time I give unto my Three Sons after namd. that is to say Henry, Himebrick and David HILL all the remaining part of my Estate of what Kind or nature so ever after my Just Debts be paid to be Equally Devid amonst [sic] them to mentain my wife Mary HILL I lastly nominate and appoint my Son Henry HILL and Tho..
