I WILLIS RIDDICK of the State of North Carolina and County of Gates being of sound mind and memory blessed be God do this the 11th day of April 1850 make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following viz 1st Item. I give or lend to my beloved wife SYNTHA RIDDICK during her life or widowhood all of my estate after paying my debts consisting of my plantation whereon I now live, four feather beads and furniture, two sets chairs, one walnut table and one pine d°, one dest, one looking glass, kitchen furniture, three pots, one tee kettle, one dutch oven, two trays, two spiders, two horses, one cart and wheels, five head of cattle, twenty two head of Hoggs, one set of cooper's tools all the corn and fodder, all the beacon & lard, two ploughs and plough lamps, dishes, plates, spoons, cups & saucers and after her death or marriage my plantation to be equally divided between my sons viz JOEL RIDDICK, JACOB RIDDICK, DANIEL RIDDICK, REUBEN RIDDICK, Also I lend to my beloved wife SYNTHIA RIDDICK during her life two negroes BEN and AGGA and after her death BEN and AGGA to my son JOEL RIDDICK all the beads to be divided between my sons JOEL, DANIEL, JACOB & REUBEN and the residue to be equally between all my children. I leave this my Last will without executor.
