DEED OF GIFT - ROBERT WITHERINGTON TO BENJAMIN WITHERINGTON

P 284 - 6 September 1797 - Indenture - ROBERT WITHERINGTON, planter, to
BENJAMIN WITHERINGTON, son ---- natural love and affection --- give two
tracts - viz --- one tract partly in Lenoir County and partly in Glasgow -
NS Neuse - Little Creek alias Mill Run, adj THOS. COPELAND --- 160 acres
being part of tract taken up by JAMES JONES containing 268 acres as patent
on 2 March 1739 and by JONES sold to ALEXANDER KILPATRICK and by KILPATRICK
sold to THOMAS KING on 10 February 1753 and by KING conveyed to RICHARD
BLACKLEDGE by POA on 6 July 1758 and by BLACKLEDGE conveyed to ROBERT
WITHERINGTON on 1 June 1764--- the other parcel - 100 acres in Lenoir - SS
Wheat Swamp - adj TURNER, JONES, WHITFIELD, BECKTON --- by patent to sd
WITHERINGTON 29 October 1782
