Perry-Chappell Cemetery

Location:  Take Hwy 50 out of Raleigh north to Creedmore, NC.  Just as you
get to the town of Creedmore take a right onto Dove Road, go about 1.1 miles
and the graveyard is about 100 yards off of Dove Road on the right.  The
graveyard is up a hill and in a grove of trees.  It is not visible as a
graveyard from Dove Road.  There is a path that leads right up to the area.
There are several unmarked graves in the older area of the graveyard.
According to the death certificates of Dock and Edward Chappell as well as
my grandmother who is 95 years old and attended several of the funerals
there the graveyard was known as "Perry's Chapel" or "Perry/Chappell
cemetery".
