It is 1.4 miles east of Creedmoor and 1.1 miles west of Mt. Energy. The map outlines an access road from the highway to the cemetery and there is a marker on the roadside pointing to the site. There are many unmarked graves in this cemetery. There is a section on the east side of the cemetery that is inhabited by big trees and heavy undergrowth making it impossible to search and identify graves. Yeargin, George Washington, born 4-25-1850 and died 2-28-1914. The grandchildren of George Washington Yeargin have confirmed that he is buried in this cemetery although there is no marker. There is a possibility that his first wife, Ozella Neoma Overton Yeargin, death date unknown, is buried there, but the absence of a marker makes it hard to document. Yeargin, Joseph Columbus , born 11-7-1875 and 3-10-1927. Leah Nora Averette Yeargin, born 4-4-1885 and died 10-22-1961 (Leah the wife of Joseph Columbus Yeargin) Yeargin, Mary Lee, born 5-30-1916 and died 11-22-1917(Mary the daughter of Joseph Columbus and Leah Averette Yeargin). There is no marker but indications are that she is buried in this cemetery. Yeargin, Wilbur Wright, Sr., born 12-28-1909 and died 5-10-1996 (Wilbur the son of Joseph and Leah Yeargin) Yeargin, Baby Girl, stillborn 8-15-1937, buried in Yeargin Cemetery and later relocated to Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery(Unnamed baby the daughter of Wilbur Wright and Virginia Mangum Yeargin) Yeargin, Zebulon Vance, born 5-12-1877 and died 10-14-1947 (Zebulon the son of George Washington and Ozella Yeargin) Yeargin,Viola Lillian Hughes, born 3-29-1880 and died 7-18-1927 (Viola the wife of Zebulon Vance Yeargin. Yeargin, Samuel L, born 2-10-1882 and died 10-25-1928(Samuel L. the son of George Washington and Ozella Yeargin) Yeargin, Lula Jeffreys born 2-13-1894 and died 4-17-1971(Lula the wife of Samuel L. Yeargin) Yeargin, Wilson B. born 4-26-1916 and died 9-1-1938(Wilson B. the son of Samuel and Lula Jeffreys Yeargin) Crabtree, Katie Yeargin, born 2-2-1890 and died 8-7-1954(Katie the daughter of George Washington and Ozella Yeargin) Crabtree, Luther Ward(Luther the husband of Katie Yeargin Crabtree) Crabtree, Imogene born 1929 and died 1939(Imogene the daughter of Katie and Luther Crabtree. Crabtree, Doris born 1920 and died 1920(Doris the daughter of Katie and Luther Crabtree. Grisson, J.T. born 5-10-1845 and died 6-5-1935. Grissom, Teallie born December 1848 and died 3-1-1932(Teallie the wife of J.T.Grissom) Grissom, Charlie H., born 1843 and died January 1929. Grissom, Jane, died 1906(Jane the wife of Charlie H. Grissom) Horton, W.H., born 5-10-1870 and died 9-24-1934(W. H. the 2nd husband of Nannie Grissom Horton) Horton, Nannie Grissom Knight, A.F. born 9-20-1888 and died 8-8-1902 Knight, J.B., born 2-1856 and died 5-1934 Knight, Hetty, born 1858 and died 1898(wife of J.B. Knight) Allen, David born 1861 and died 1905 Allen, Leo born 1894 and died 1975 Allen, William born 1863 and died 1938 Forsyth, Ludy Belle Allen born 1872 and died 1923 For the Allen graves new markers have replaced the original old hand etched ones. A fence has been placed around the plot and the old markers put in a row along the perimeter. Bullock, Eugenia A. born 8-23-1896 and died 3-11-1911(Eugenia A. the daughter of J. D. and Sophia Bullock) Milton, Hettie, born 3-12-1913 and died 4-17-1937, wife of J.M. Milton Milton, Ozella, born 1-9-1895 and died 11-26-1928, wife of J.M. Milton There is no known connection between this Milton family and the Yeargin family. Annie Yeargin, sister of Joseph C. Yeargin, married a Milton and lived in the Crewe, Virginia, area where they both are buried.
