GRANVILLE COUNTY
May Term, 1817

JOEL TUCKER and wife and others

Petition to divide real estate to THOMAS APLING, deceased. It appearing to the 
satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, THOMAS BLANKS AND JAMES BLANKS 
are not inhabitants of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication hereof be made for three successive weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, 
that unless the said defendants come forward before the next term of the Court 
of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Granville and answer 
or demur, the petition will be taken pro confesso and judgment awarded 
accordingly.
