JOHN CRAFT, STEPHEN SNEED, THOMAS CRITCHER, JOHN FUSSEL, ROBERT BEVIL and 
THOMAS NORMAN

     Vs.

ELISHA SHAMMELL and JOSEPH SHAMMELL

Original Bill

It appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the defendant, JOSEPH 
SHAMMELL is not an inhabitant of this state, it is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for three successive weeks in the Raleigh 
Minerva, that unless the said defendant appear at our next Superior Court to 
be held for the County of Granville on the 1st Monday in March next and plead, 
answer or demur to this bill, the same will be taken pro confesso against him.
