STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA          COURT OF EQUITY   
 GRANVILLE COUNTY
September Term, 1810

JOHN WILLIAMS, Executor
           Vs.
SARAH WILLIAMS and MATTHEW CLAY

The defendant, SARAH WILLIAMS, failing to appear, and it appearing to the 
satisfaction of the Court that she is the resident of another State. It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for three successive 
weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, that unless the said defendant appear at our 
next Court to be held for the County of Granville on the 1st Monday in March 
next and plead, answer or demur to the Bill of Complainant, the same will be 
taken pro confesso and heard ex parte.
