Stovall This Indenture made this first day of February One To Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Between Bartholomew Stovall of Granville County & Jno Stovall State of North Carolina of the one part & John Stovall of the County & State Exd aforsd of the other part Witnesseth that the sd. Bartholomew Stovall for & in consideration of the sum of five pounds Virginia Money to him in hand paid at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents the Rect. whereof he the sd. Bartholomew Stovall doth hereby acknowledge & himself therewith fully content & satisfied & paid hath bargained sold aliened enfeoffed confirmed & made over & doth by these presents for himself his heirs Exrs. Admrs. & all & every of them bargain Sell alien enfeoff & confirm unto the sd. John Stovall and unto his heirs & assigns forever One Tract or parcel of Land Situate lying & being in the sd. County of Granville Beginning at a red oak on the east side of a stream thence along the sd. Stream a North course thirty poles to an ash thence down the stream as it meanders thirty six poles to a hickory on which it corner from thence a west course thirty five poles by a line of Stakes to a corner hickory Twenty five feet from Jonathans Creek thence Southeast Seventy five poles to the Beginning Containing by estimation Seven Acres & half be the same more or less & the reversion & reversions Remainder & Remainders rights estate Interest benefits claims & demands whatsoever of him the sd. Bartholomew Stovall of in or to the sd. land and premises or any part thereof To have & to hold the sd. Tract or parcel of Land & all and Singular the premises with their & every of their appurtenances unto the sd. John Stovall his heirs or assigns forever & the sd. Bartholomew Stovall for himself his heirs the sd. Tract of Land with all & singular the premises with their appurtenances unto the said John Stovall & his heirs & assigns against him the sd.
