THIS INDENTURE Made this 1st day of February 1791 Between David Wilkerson Senr 
of the County of Granville & State of North Carolina of the one part & William 
Wilkerson of the County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth the sd 
David Wilkerson for & in consideration of the Just & full sum of Eighty pounds 
Currency to him in hand paid before the sealing & delivery of these presence 
the Receipt whereof he doth acknowledge & by these presence doth bargain sell 
deliver & confirm unto the sd. William Wilkerson his heirs & assigns forever 
one certain Tract or parcel of Land lying & being in the County of Granville 
on Bearskin Creek containing eighty acres more or less & bounded as followeth, 
To wit, Beginning at a red oak in Robt Hesters line thence west to the ---k 
branch thence down the sd. branch to the Creek thence down the sd Creek to the 
Mouth of Whartons branch thence up the branch to the sd Hesters line thence on 
his line to the first Station To have & to hold the sd land & its 
appurtenances with all the privileges & appurtenances thereunto belonging or 
in anywise appertaining & I do warrant and defend the Right & Title of the sd 
land to the sd William Wilkerson his heirs & assigns clear from the lawful 
Challenge claim or demand of all persons whatsoever In Witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand & Seal the day & date above Written ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
