Thurs. March 31, 1859  North Carolina Argus March 1859
   ORANGE SUPREME COURT -- OBADIAH CHRISTMAS has been found guilty in this 
Court of murdering a slave, the property of MR. TAYLOR of Granville, and 
sentenced to be hung on the 2nd of May. After sentence had been passed, ann 
appeal was taken to the Supreme Court.
