Memorial Obituary

Entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 30, 1965

Mrs. Ethel D. Allen

Mrs. Ethel Davis Allen, 58, widow of V. Atlas Allen, of 117 Summitt Ave., 
died at her home Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. 
at the Caraleigh Baptist Church. The Rev. S.D. Morgan, pastor, and the Rev. 
Johnny New will officiate. Burial will be held in Good Hope Congregational 
Christian Church cemetery on Rt. 1, Youngsville. Surviving are three 
daughters, Mrs. Gladys Stancil of Jacksonville, Mrs. Elizabeth Lee of 
Raleigh, and Mrs. Mary Joyce Lucas of Appomattox, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. 
Cora Finch, Mrs. Ovie Lowery and Mrs. Mary Allen, all of Raleigh; two 
brothers, Bruce Davis of Wake Forest, and Otis Davis of Franklinton; and 
five grandchildren. Pallbearers:  James B. Perry, William Davis, Charlie 
Davis, Spencer Lowery, Lynn Lowery, and Vernon Phillips.
