LILLIE WILKERSON CUTTS

NEWS AND OBSERVER, RALEIGH, N.C.  01-18-1955, P. 24

  OXFORD - Mrs. Lillie Wilkerson Cutts, a resident of Stovall and wife of William 
Macon Cutts, died Monday morning in Granville Hospital. The funeral is to be 
conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Stovall Baptist Church, of which she was a member, 
by the Rev. Oren Bradley, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Fred Ellis of Stovall and 
the Rev. Ronald Hicks of Oxford. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body 
will be moved from a local funeral home to the church at 2 p.m.  A member of 
Stovall Church, Mrs. Cutts for many years was teacher of the young woman's Sunday 
School class. she was a daughter of the late J.K. and Elizabeth Slaughter 
Wilkerson of Granville county. Surviving are a step-daughter, Mrs. Walter Snowa; 
a stepson, Tyree Cutts; and wife, step-grandchildren, all of Richmond, Va.

  OXFORD - Funeral services were held today at the Stovall Baptist Church for
Mrs. Lillie Wilkerson Cutts of Stovall, who died yesterday. Burial was in the
church cemetery.

  Pallbearers were C.K. Cutts, U.P. Cutts, Howard Cutts and Dan O'brien.

Surviving are a step-daughter, Mrs. Walter Snowa; a stepson, Tyree Cutts of
Richmond; and five step-grandchildren.
