DIED
On the 14th instance at Montpelier, the residence of his son, JAS. R. DUTY, 
CAPTAIN JABEZ DUTY, [formerly of Granville], in the 79th year of his age. He 
was one of nature's noblemen, an honest man.

Additional Comments:
Note:In 1850, Captain Jabez Duty lived in Henderson, Granville, according to 
U.S. Census.
