Granville County, NC - Obituary of John & James Hester, 1862

The Standard of Raleigh, Oct. 1,1862
   DEPARTED this life, on the 3rd of June, 1862, of typhoid fever, 
JOHN WALTER, infant son of Wm. H. and H. P. HESTER.
   The same fond parents were soon destined to suffer another bereavement. 
On the 4th inst., the pale horse rode off in triumph: JAMES DANIEL, aged 
11 years and four months. He died of diptheria.
   The funeral of the above children named children will be preached at 
Union Chapel, Granville County, on the 4th Sunday in November next at 
11 o'clock a. m.
