Died

In Granville County on the 2nd instant in the 82nd year of her age, Mrs. 
Margaret Peace, wife of Capt. John Peace, sen'r. For several years she had 
lingered under disease, but she bore the dispensation with christian fortitude 
and pious resignation, knowing that it was but the chastening of a gracious 
providence. She believed in the Saviour as the Lord of her righteoness and had 
a blessed hope, through him, of an inheritance among the saints in light. 
Being permitted to enjoy her senses to the last moment, she called by name 
each member of the family and having bid them all farewell, fell asleep in the 
arms of Jesus.
