LAST RITES ARE HELD FOR L.C. WILKERSON

   Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Salem 
Methodist Church in Granville County for Luther C. Wilkerson, 68, who died at 
Duke Hospital Monday morning. The body was taken to his home on Milton Avenue, 
Durham, and remained until 1:30 p.m.  Rev. J.L. Smith, pastor of Salem Church, 
and the Rev. Paul Fields, a former pastor, officiated, and burial followed in the 
Stovall Baptist Church Cemetery.
