Death of J. B. Watson

We learn that J. B. Watson, who killed Mr. Basket of Henderson 
and sentenced for the penitentiary for 30 years, made his 
escape some time during the extreme cold weather and when 
captured was quite ill with pneumonia. He did not live but a 
few days after his capture and his death was due from exposure 
in trying to elude the officers. It was reported at first that 
he was shot and killed but we learn through reliable source 
the above facts in connection of his death. --------------
