Secondly all the rest of my estate I lend to my loving wife Sarah Jones during her life or widowhood, and at her death or marriage my will & desire is that all my estate both real and personal should be equally divided among all my children then living. I also appoint my father-in-law John Pettypool & my loving friend Moses Streat executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 23rd day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty-two. Edmond Jones is named in the will of Robert Jones (Mecklenburg Co., VA: 1771) as nephew, son of brother James Jones.
