William Bennet Murphrey Son of Bennet W. Murphrey and Mary J. his wife 
was born the 1 day of March in the year of our Lord 1824

Josiah T. Hendon Murphrey son of Bennet Murphrey and Mary J. his wife, 
was born the 4th day of March in the year of our Lord 1827

Susan Jane Murphrey A daughter of Bennet Murphrey and Mary J. his wife 
was born the 28th day of September in the year of our Lord A. D. 1829

Drewry Aldridge Murphrey A son of Bennet Murphrey and Mary J. his wife 
was born the 7th day of February 1832

Cabnus Barrington A son of Bennet Murphrey and Mary J his wife, was 
born the 19th day of January 1835

John Cabnus Everitt Murphrey A son of Bennet Murphrey and Mary J his 
wife, was born the 17th day of August A. D. 1837

Johnnie F. Murphrey a son of J. T. H. Murphrey and Alcinda his wife 
departed this life Nov 13th A. D. 1879 - Age 23 years 5 month and 20 days

Bible

Bennet W. Murphrey married Mary J. Aldridge, born 1800, died 1862

Mary J. Aldridge was a daughter of Drewry Aldridge born 1766 and Edith 
Hardy born 1768 who were married in 1786.

NOTE: This may be incorrect. Mary Aldridge daughter of Drewry and Edith 
married Parrott Mewborn, Jr.

Josiah T. Hendon Murphrey died March 15, 1873, was married to Alcinda 
Frizzle born May 22, 1827

George W. Murphrey, born May 17, 1853 in Greene County, died January 
13, 1916 - was married December 10th 1885 to Annie Thompson Patrick b 22 
April 1862, died January 14, 1937
